Innovative Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Management

Opening of the «Innovative Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Management» Centre at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. 

On 17 March 2015, the Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov participated in the opening ceremony of the 'Innovative Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Management' Centre at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University.https://bmstu.ru/content/images/thumbnail/img_2630(52).jpg

The Centre was established with the support of SFERIQ, a global investment company, and IQ One, a venture fund. The partnership is said to be devoid of money.
«Our primary goal is to develop entrepreneurial practices under the aegis of our country's respected technical higher education institution. The innovative entrepreneurship centre allows students to both obtain extra knowledge and to strengthen it with practical skills, which will lay the groundwork for building a career in business, as well as for designing and developing students' own commercial projects», said Ulvi Kasimov, the founder of SFERIQ, a global investment company, the Chairman of the Board of Directors at IQ One venture investment fund, professor of Innovative Entrepreneurship department at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In honour of the opening, Ulvi Kasimov, the head of the SFERIQ investment group, presented the Centre with a 3D printer. When talking about his contribution to creation of the «Innovative Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property Management» Centre, Mr Kasimov stated: «I call it a Centre of Happiness Emission since I get a lot of that here».https://bmstu.ru/content/images/thumbnail/img_2630(79).jpg Presently, Ulvi Kasimov patronises the Innovative Entrepreneurship department. He is also a founder and investor of the «Foresight. Predictive Analytics Technology’ educational programme at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University». At the end of the event, the Rector of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University Anatoly Aleksandrov and special guests pressed a symbolic button, giving a start to the development and establishment of promising innovative projects.
